Before we enter an industry, we look for a specific pattern: the people doing the work are underserved by the tools available to them. They're working around their software instead of with it. Forms are manual. Communication is scattered. Processes that should take minutes take hours.
When we see that pattern, we study it thoroughly. We learn the workflows, understand the language, and build software that fits, like it was made by someone who does the job every day.
